TCLCrafted produces lead-free high-tin pewter, refined and hand-cast in small batches for jewellery making, metal casting, and workshop or studio use.
We work with carefully selected modern pewter, prioritising clearly marked high-tin material rather than bulk mixed or unidentified scrap. Our pewter is refined and blended in controlled batches to produce clean, dependable material ready for remelting and reuse.
Every batch is multi-stage lead screened as part of our process — before refining, after casting, and prior to sale. Any material that screens positive for lead is removed from our lead-free production workflow.
From refined pewter ingots to casting flake
Our refined pewter is available in a range of practical formats, from hand-cast ingots to casting flake. The flake is made from the same refined pewter and formed into smaller, easy-to-weigh pieces for convenient melting and casting.

Our highest-grade refined pewter, produced exclusively from carefully selected modern lead-free pewter marked as containing 95%+ tin. Refined and blended for consistency across batches and intended for makers who value known composition alongside our multi-stage lead screening.Craft Grade
Refined from carefully selected modern high-tin pewter, including marked 95%+ material and recognised high-tin pewter where the original composition marking is not present. It goes through the same careful refining and lead-screening process, providing a practical, dependable material for general casting, craft, and workshop use.
